This website was designed to be used as an e-portfolio, for leader, and aspiring teacher, Mr Paul Darmanin. It displays his interests and background, as well as demonstrating his professional knowledge, practice and engagement through the Australian Professional Teaching Standards.
Paul Darmanin is an aspiring technology teacher, who specialises in woodwork and metal work. He was born in 1994 in Darlinghurst. He went on to complete primary school at Peakhurst south public school before finishing high school at Marist College Penshurst and Kogarah. Darmanin is currently attending ACU in Strathfield and finishing his Bachelor of Teaching/arts, currently completing his fourth year at the establishment. Paul has been honing his skills as a teacher, learning technology from the great Ray and John Barlow and educational theories and practices from Miriam Tanti.
Darmanin, was determined to make a difference. That's why he is studying to become a teacher. He hopes to pass on his expertise in the field of metal and woodwork to the next generation of eager kids.

Outside the teaching industry, he works at supermarket giants, Woolworths, as a Produce Expert. He takes a keen interest in all sports, in particular, Football, where he formally played at a representative level for Dulwich Hill FC. At the club, he played an inspirational role as captain bossing the midfield and leading them to back-to-back championships. Currently he has taken time away from the game to heal a serious knee injury. Darmanin would also be considered a motoring enthusiast. He owns a Honda civic which he daily drives, as well as a wpn Nissan Skyline GTR which he soon hopes to see dip into the 11's at WSID.
